Sample 5 Night Perry Lake/Pack-in Camps Combo Package Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrive Perry Lake Lodge after 2:00pm
Settle in and have supper in the main dining hall. (if arrival is before 6:30 pm)
Complete registration process and sign liability waivers.
Receive briefing on your trip, review safety procedures, and assess riding abilities for all riders.
Become acquainted with horses, grooming, leading. Tack up and go for a short ride in the corral or local trail approx time 1 hour. (time permitting)
Spend the night in our main lodge.
Day 2:
Have breakfast main dinning hall 8:00am
Complete rider assessment if not completed the day before.
Tack up and ride local trails approx time 2 hours.
Return to lodge for a hearty lunch in our main dining hall at noon.
An afternoon of relaxation. Activities include canoeing on our main lake, windsurfing, swimming (temperature permitting), relax on the dock & listen to the loons, fishing, groom horses, rent a boat and cruise the lake.
Settle in for a delicious dinner in our main dining hall for 5:00pm.
Tack up and participate in an evening sunset ride approx. time 3 hours.
Spend the night in our main lodge.
Day 3:
Have lumberjack breakfast main dinning hall 8:00am
Tack up and ride local trails approx time 1.5 hours
Return to lodge for a hearty lunch in our main dining hall at noon.
Prepare for pack trip expedition; pack duffels, load panniers for pack- horses, tack- up.
Depart Perry Lake Lodge 2:00pm for Saddle River spike camp approx time 3.5 hours.
Arrive Saddle River spike camp 5:30ish. Settle into camp, water & feed horses, prepare for evening dinner.
Relax around the bon-fire under the north's blanket of stars and (hopefully) listen to the wolves howl.
Day 4:
Water horses.
Have breakfast cowboy style 8:00am.
Prepare for pack trip expedition, pack duffels, load panniers for packhorses, tack up Depart 10:00am for Pack-in Camp approx time 4-5 hours.
Stop for bag lunch along the way at noon.
Arrive Pack-in Camp 4:00pm.
Settle into camp, water & feed horses, prepare for evening dinner.
Evening options include: short trail ride 1.5 hour, fishing, just sitting back relaxing and taking it all in and of course our evening bon-fire.
Day 5:
Water horses.
Have breakfast camp style 8:00am.
Morning options include: short trail ride 1.5 hour, fishing, exploring for moose sheds & wildlife bones.
Have lunch camp style.
Depart Pack-in Camp 2:00pm for Saddle River spike camp appox. time 4-5 hours.
Arrive Saddle River Spike Camp 6:30ish. Settle into camp, water & feed horses, prepare for evening dinner.
Evening options include: fishing, stargazing, campfire games and ghost stories around the bon-fire.
Day 6:
Water horses
Have breakfast cowboy style 6:30am
Depart Saddle River 7:30am for Perry Lake Lodge approx time 3.5 hours.
Arrive Perry Lake Lodge 11:00 am.
Unpack and have lunch in main dinning hall. Showers available.
Depart Cedar Ride Lodge fully re-charged.

1. Perry Lake Lodge - Backcountry Lodge Rides
Located six hours from Toronto or seven hours from Sault Ste. Marie you will find yourself surrounded and immersed in the beauty of Northeastern Ontario's boreal forest and North America's last frontier. This is our only drive to camp and it is the check-in and checkout location for your stay. Our lodge is a remote lodge and offers all the conveniences of a modern lodge including hot showers, comfortable clean beds, and the best home cooking you will find in the North. Includes: 4 hours of riding/day with guide, three meals/day and accommodations.

2. Pack-In Camps
A four-hour ride will take you to one of our remote pack in camps where you will find yourself surrounded by old growth forests, mystical streams and lakes, and gentle rolling hills. You will be transformed into another world of unspeakable beauty teaming with wildlife and birds that you may never have seen before. Our camps are comfortable remote pack-in camps reminiscent of the gold rush days that happened in the area. There are 12 gold mines in the area and trying your hand at panning for gold may prove to be worthwhile. Includes: 4 hours of riding/day, three meals/day, accommodations in prospector tents with cots, professional certified guides for the length of your stay, horses & tack. Minimum 3-night trip.

3. Combination Perry Lake & Pack-In Camp
This package combines our two most popular packages. You will spend half your time in a full service modern lodge and the other half and on a pack trip deep into the boreal forests. This is an excellent opportunity to experience first hand what many people dream about. This is our most popular package.
